minor rotations

i'm rotating right now in dermatology. in a way, i feel happy here. why? because in derma, i excel. it's the one module back in third year that i know i did well. plus, i enjoyed studying dermatology. in our rotation, we have quizzes everyday and i'm proud to admit that i often get the highest score... which is almost always rare what with the top 20 student in our group. however, i don't want to jinx it yet. so far, it's only day 2.

two weeks ago, i was in neurology/psychiatry. i also enjoyed my rotation there. it was in this rotation that i realized that i liked what i did. there was a time during our rotation where the interns had a retreat and we had to substitute for them. i was the one left in charge, meaning, i was the one who had to decide what to do to the patient. that's when i realized that it felt good to be a doctor. plus, the nurses in my staff were really nice and helpful. parang kabarkada ko lang sila. it's nice to work with people like them.

two weeks from now, another rotation. and then, medicine, sapang palay, electives and revalida. next graduation. time flies so fast.
